1. Used as a raw material for organic synthesis such as surfactants, water reducing agents, dispersants, and pharmaceuticals. It can be used as a printing and dyeing carrier for polyvinyl chloride fibers and polyester fibers, as an emulsifier for hexachlorocyclohexane, as well as a heat carrier and solvent, surfactant, sulfur extraction agent, and as a raw material for producing plasticizers and fiber dyeing aids.
2. The standard fuel used to determine the octane number and cetane number of diesel oil is also used for organic synthesis.
