The volatile oil consists of acetic acid, propionic acid, butyric acid, isobutyric acid, valeric acid, isovaleric acid, caproic acid, isohexanoic acid, methyl salicylate, guaiacol, phenol, o-cresol, m-cresol, eugenol, etc. It also contains oxalic acid, fumaric acid, tartaric acid, citric acid, succinic acid, palmitic acid, ethyl palmitate, triadecane, hydroxycoumarin, sucrose, fructose, glucose, aspartic amino acid and various amino acids. It also contains vitamin C, glutathione, folic acid, 5-formyltetrahydrofolate, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, adenine, choline, trigonelline, copper, zinc, boron, manganese, etc.
