Lactic acid bacteria are probiotics that ferment carbohydrates into lactic acid, hence the name. Working Mechanism


The organic acids, special enzymes, acid bacteria and other substances produced by lactic acid bacteria through fermentation have special physiological functions. A large number of research data show that lactic acid bacteria can promote the growth of animals, regulate the normal flora of the gastrointestinal tract, and maintain the microecological balance, thereby improving the function of the gastrointestinal tract, improving the digestibility and biological titer of food, reducing serum cholesterol, controlling endotoxin, and inhibiting intestinal tract. 1. Production of high-quality silage
The production of silage is completed by the fermentation of lactic acid bacteria. As an anaerobic bacteria, lactic acid bacteria rely on sugar in plants to survive, and the two are interdependent. 2. Improve livestock production performance
In the production process of livestock, the use of lactic acid bacteria can improve the production performance. For example, adding 0.50% concentration, 0.10% concentration and 0.05% concentration of lactic acid bacteria respectively, it can be found that the use of lactic acid bacteria can significantly improve the survival rate of chicks; preventing the occurrence of diarrhea in piglets is the key to raising pigs. When diarrhea occurs, lactobacilli convert lactose into lactic acid, thereby lowering the pH of the gut and inhibiting the growth of E. coli. Studies have confirmed that lactic acid bacteria preparations can significantly improve the production performance of weaned piglets.
The application of lactic acid bacteria instead of antibiotics in aquaculture is mainly reflected in water quality improvement, disease treatment and immunity to aquatic animals. Part of the lactic acid bacteria fed in the form of feed can colonize the intestinal tract, and most of them are excreted into the water through feces, so that the number of lactic acid bacteria in the water body increases and becomes the dominant bacteria. In this way, Vibrio in the intestinal tract and water body can be significantly inhibited by competitive inhibition, and nitrite in the water body can also be eliminated by direct chemical action and indirect promotion of microbial denitrification, thereby purifying water quality.
