Method


The zinc ingot obtained by electrolysis is heated to 600-700℃ to melt, and then placed in a high-temperature resistant crucible to melt and vaporize at a high temperature of 1250-1300℃. Hot air is introduced for oxidation. The generated zinc oxide is cooled and cyclone separated, and the fine particles are captured with a cloth bag to obtain the finished zinc oxide product.


Applications


Zinc oxide (ceramic grade) is widely used in ceramics, tiles, mosaics, bathroom porcelain, and pond porcelain due to its excellent fluxing and opacity properties.

  • Glazes and Fluxes for Glass & Ceramics
    Acts as a flux in the ceramic industry, lowering the melting point of raw materials and improving the glaze quality. It provides a smooth, glossy, and durable surface finish.

  • Tiles and Mosaics
    Enhances whiteness, brightness, and surface smoothness of tiles and mosaics. Also improves resistance to wear, acid, and alkali, extending service life.

  • Sanitary Ware (Bathroom & Pond Porcelain)
    Ensures high surface strength and gloss in bathroom porcelain, bathtubs, sinks, and pond porcelain. It increases resistance to thermal shock, scratches, and chemical erosion.

  • Glass Manufacturing
    Used as a raw material for glass and frit production. It improves transparency, durability, and UV resistance of glass.

  • Electrical Porcelain and Special Ceramics
    Applied in producing electrical insulators, technical porcelain, and advanced ceramics where high resistance and stability are required.
