On July 25th, the mainstream delivery price of butadiene in North China was around 13,250 RMB/ton, a decrease of 100 RMB/ton.
The downstream inquiry mentality was cautious, and there was no significant change in the supply and demand side. The market mentality was wait-and-see, and the market quotation slightly declined on the 25th, indicating a strong supply-demand game mentality.
On Wednesday (July 24th), butadiene closed steadily in foreign markets: among them, the FOB price in South Korea was quoted at 1,545-1,555 US dollars/ton, unchanged; China CFR quoted at 1,555-1,565 US dollars/ton, unchanged; European butadiene FOB Rotterdam closed at 1,170-1,180 US dollars/ton, unchanged; FD Northwest Europe closed at 1,065-1,075 euros/ton, unchanged.
