During the research and use of nitroguanidine propellant, abnormal low-temperature ballistics will be encountered, the main reason being the poor mechanical properties of nitroguanidine at low temperature. Bonding agents (also known as coupling agents), as additives to improve the mechanical properties and process properties of composite materials, can enhance the interface between solid and bonding system, thereby improving the mechanical properties of composite materials. At present, bonding agents have been widely studied and applied in composite solid propellants. Alcohol amine and aziridine bonding agents are commonly used in ammonium perchlorate (AP) composite propellants, which can be chemically adsorbed on the surface of AP, thereby enhancing the interfacial bonding force between AP and the binder system. In the study of nitramine propellants, hydantoin-type bonding agents can be coated on the surface of RDX and HMX through hydrogen bonding, borate ester-type bonding agents can bond with RDX through van der Waals force and electrostatic interaction, neutral polymers The bonding agent can be applied to different nitramine particles by changing the monomer ratio. The addition of these bonding agents enhances the binding force between the nitramine particles and the bonding system, thereby improving the mechanical properties of the nitramine propellant.
