Product Parameters

Nitroguanidine (NQ) is an important explosive, which is usually used as propellant and explosive charge component. The industrial products of nitroguanidine are generally needle-like crystals, and some of them crystallize into hollow aggregates. The natural bulk density generally does not exceed 0.3g/cm3, and the fluidity is extremely poor. If nitroguanidine is used in weapon warhead charges, it must be made into spherical crystals with good dispersion and high bulk density. At present, the preparation of spherical nitroguanidine generally adopts the method of cooling and recrystallization. Zhang Ming et al. prepared nitroguanidine with higher bulk density by this method. However, this method has the following problems: the surfactant used in the operation will precipitate with the precipitation of nitroguanidine grains in low-temperature water, which may affect the mechanical properties and explosion level of nitroguanidine; precise control of cooling is required during the recrystallization process. The speed is high, which requires high equipment and is difficult to control accurately.
