First generation pyrethroids
characteristic
(1) There are eight isomers in structure, of which 1R, 3R (+) trans and S (+) isomers have the highest toxicity to housefly (LD50=0.24g/fly), which is 500 times higher than the lowest toxicity of 1S, 3R (-) trans and R (-) isomers (45.2g/fly).
(2) Strong touch killing, fast knockdown, and less effective than pyrethroids (especially against cockroaches).
(3) Vapor pressure 20 ℃, 9.33 × 10Pa, can be processed into mosquito repellent incense, electric mosquito repellent incense sheet.
(4) Short residual effect and light sensitivity (slightly better stability than Pyrethrin).
(5) Low toxicity: oral LD50:685 in rats( ♀)- 1100( ♂) mg/Kg .

(1) Allethrin
Allethrin is a contact insecticide, mainly used in mosquito repellent incense and aerosol to control mosquitoes and flies. It can be compounded with permethrin, permethrin, permethrin, deltamethrin, and cyfluthrin as aerosols.
Propethrin has strong insecticidal efficacy, fast knockdown speed, and moderate vapor pressure. It has fumigation and contact killing effects. Due to its excellent repellent effect against mosquitoes, it is particularly suitable for mosquito coils and electric mosquito coils. D-allethrin, especially Es biological allethrin, has a remarkable knockdown effect, so it can also be used as aerosol and spray. However, allethrin has a poor lethality to pests, so it should be used in combination with insecticides with strong lethality.
