The average price of industrial sodium metabisulfite at the beginning of the week was 2,393.33 RMB/ton, and the average price at the end of the week was 2,400.00 RMB/ton, up 0.28% in the week.
Analysis review
In February, the price of upstream raw materials rose slightly, supporting domestic sodium metabisulfite market price to be stable and stronger. This week, the market price range of domestic industrial sodium metabisulfite was 2,350-2,500 RMB/ton, with most prices concentrated around 2,350-2,450 RMB/ton. The inventory of enterprises continued to be low, the overall supply of sodium metabisulfite market was tight, and enterprises mainly completed orders from old customers.
Since February, as of February 17, the price of domestic soda ash had risen slightly by 2.07%, and the price of sulfur had fallen by 1.42%. In general, the price of upstream raw materials was on the rise as a whole, and a small increase in cost will further support the market price of sodium metabisulfite in the future.

Analysts from SunSirs believe that under the dual support of cost and demand, the domestic market price of sodium metabisulfite will continue to be stable and stronger in the short term.
