Applications

Used as analytical reagent, oxidant, bleach and plastic polymerization initiator Wheat Flour Brightening Agent; Oxidizing Agent; Bleaching Agent It can be used as a monomer polymerization initiator for polyvinyl chloride, unsaturated polyester, polyacrylate, etc. It can also be used as a crosslinking agent for polyethylene and a rubber vulcanizing agent. Mainly used as a polymerization initiator for PVC and polyacrylonitrile and a crosslinking agent for unsaturated polyester and acrylate.

Dibenzoyl peroxide is low in toxicity, harmful if swallowed by mistake, and has irritating effects on eyes, skin and mucous membranes, and direct contact should be avoided. Acute poisoning: rat oral LD50: 7710mg/kg; mouse oral LD50: 5700 mg/kg.
