Applications

Mainly used as solvents and organic synthesis intermediates, used to prepare gas purifiers (for CO2 removal), lubricant additives, emulsifiers, photographic chemicals, surfactants, fabric finishing agents, paper enhancers, metal chelating agents , Heavy metal hydrometallurgy and non-cyanide electroplating diffusers, brighteners, ion exchange resins and polyamide resins, etc.

Storage/Transport Information

Leakage emergency treatment
Evacuate personnel from the leaked contaminated area to a safe area, prohibit irrelevant personnel from entering the contaminated area, and cut off the source of fire. Emergency treatment personnel wear self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing. Do not directly touch the leakage, and stop the leakage under safe conditions. Spraying water mist can reduce evaporation but do not allow water to enter the storage container. Absorb with sand, vermiculite or other inert materials, then collect and transport to the waste disposal site. It can also be washed with a lot of water, and the diluted lotion is put into the waste water system. If there is a large amount of leakage, use the embankment to contain it, and then collect, transfer, recycle or dispose of it after harmless treatment.
Waste disposal method: use incineration. Waste materials are mixed with flammable solvents and then incinerated. The incineration system must be equipped with a rear combustion chamber. The exhaust gas from the incinerator must pass through a scrubber to remove harmful components.
Protective measures
Respiratory protection: Wear a gas mask when you may be exposed to its vapor. It is recommended to wear self-contained breathing apparatus during emergency rescue or evacuation.
