Production method
Industrial production methods include phosphorus trichloride hydrolysis method and phosphite method. Hydrolysis method Phosphorus trichloride is slowly added dropwise to water under stirring to carry out hydrolysis reaction to generate phosphorous acid. The hydrogen chloride produced in the production process of PCI3+3H2O→H3PO3+3HCl can be recycled and used to make hydrochloric acid.
